The Liebster Award

First of all, I wanna thank Ima Writer (@confessionsbyateen) for the nomination!

So, I never really knew much about these awards on blogspot, but I came across a few of them before. I never really expected to be a part of the whole recognition thing since I thought there was only a certain group of bloggers who were being awarded. Compared to most online blogs, mine is not really often visited (because that's not the purpose), so a nomination for anything like this was not likely to be received.

Based on my research (since I have no idea on what this is lol), the Liebster Award aims to recognize people whose blogs have interesting and/or sensible content, but are not given much attention. It is given to bloggers by bloggers as well, and for each nominee are several more nominations. Meaning, the nominations are paid forward.

The rules:
  • Create a post about your nomination then thank and link the person who nominated you.
  • Answer the 11 questions given to you.
  • Nominate 3-5 more people with less than 200 followers to win the award, but do not nominate the person who nominated you (I used the old rules as reference for this, since finding 11 new bloggers- especially for those who don't follow a lot is quite stressful) and inform them about your nomination.
  • Give 11 questions for your chosen bloggers to answer.
To answer Ima Writer's questions:
1. What is your favorite hobby?
Can thinking be considered as a hobby? That's probably it, aside from staring blankly at something. Or writing. I actually don't know, if I'd have to be honest with you. My hobbies keep on changing, but for now, just thinking.

2. Name 3 adjectives that describe you perfectly.
Noncompetitive, neutral (on taking sides), rational.

3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
I never liked answering this question. I don't mind the future much, so I just hope by then I'm still alive and in good condition. I can't really see myself in the future, only what state I hope to be in. And for as long as I'm living in comfort, not drowning in pressure and not feeling lonely, I'm good.

4. What's one of the scariest things you have ever experienced?
My brain needs repairing at the moment. I can't remember anything too scary, so I'll stick to something I remember from way back when I was a kid. My friends used to make fun of our foreigner neighbor. We usually see him with his twins going for a jog and he always held some sort of stick. Anyway, so this man is pretty strict when it comes to security, and my friends thought it would be funny to ring their doorbell only for him to find out that there's no one there. So they did. They rang the doorbell and quickly ran to the free lot near the house where they wouldn't be seen. At first, the man just went back inside. But when they rang and ran again and he came out, he was holding a baseball bat. We were all so nervous because he stepped outside and he was looking left and right, then he started heading to where we were. It's not really scary, but I remember how much adrenaline my body produced at that time, just waiting to be caught. I ran back to our house before he reached where we were, and left my friends outside because that's what good friends do.

5. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
I'm not a traveler. I'd want to travel but I don't have specific plans, so I guess.. Agloe?

6. If you could have any power that you wanted, what would it be?
The ability to propagate world peace. Or instantly make food pop right in front of me. Loljk (not really) I wanna read minds because who doesn't.

7. What's your favorite movie?
I CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ASKING FOR FAVORI-- probably A Beautiful Mind.

8. Do you like doing sports, or art?
I like both. Sports seems more exciting but I might be better when it comes to arts (not drawing or painting or stuff like that, just writing)

9. Why did you create your blog?
I needed an outlet for my thoughts. My blog has been around for quite some time but I've always been undecided on whether or not I want the people I know personally to read whatever I post. I just had a thing for blogs when I made it, and when I did, I never found a reason to stop posting. It was (still is) for self-entertainment, not to impress other people. Right now, maybe to let the readers think about what I think. It's kind of a path to understanding a side of me. A side not easily known.

10. Are you more introverted or extroverted?
Both? I used to be more introverted, then high school came around and turned me into a cockroach (I'd say butterfly, but my sociability is limited. Just didn't seem like it because of the people who surrounded me at that time. At least I can still fly?)

11. If you could wish for anything, what would it be?
11:11 world peace and prosperity. Kidding. For things to be easy? My answer would depend on what kind of wish you're asking for. Most wishes negate naturality.
